Gabe

14 weeks old Today

Panels in progress.

Timber is quite expensive....so what I have done here is buy some cheap cladding...cost me £4.00 a pack from B&Q...this job took about 2 packs=£8.00.
I had to saw every piece lengthways to get rid of the tongue and groove effect but if your willing to put in a bit of hard work then you can save a few bob !!!
Also because the timber is quite thin and not very good quality...polyfilla is a must...I mix polyfilla and pva to hide any gaps that way I know it will really stick!!

REMEMBER ITS NOT FINISHED YET !!!!

The only thing I had to buy for this was the hinges 10 for £3.00...all the rest I had lying around the house and garden.

Hallway In Progress...

Here Is the lovely bright Hallway when I moved in.:(
After ripping up the lovely broon carpet and stripping those lovely waffle walls the place seams brighter all ready.
A little touch of the old D.I.Y around the door frames and some homemade panels for the walls...Its starting to feel like home.

I used some old cladding to do the panels on the wall..so far a cheap project. The door frames are roughly costing around £23 pounds per door, not bad considering it costs hundres of pounds for pediments and architrave...

Dado rail finishes of the top of the panels...And some more homemade mouldings...

Not finished yet...but im sure its gonni be so pretty!!!

Mirrors and Table from the thrift shop..painted and distressed...
jars...decorated with some ribbon.

My lace ruffle shower curtain was my most extravagant buy at £70.00
