Winter Bed Blanket

So I posted up a picture a few posts ago on my new blanket I was making for winter. Well change of plan... 1. The wool was cheap rubbish 2. I didn't like the colour combo. So I have bought nicer wool in a nicer muted colour range that I think will be very beautiful in my Bedroom. I still have a long way to go, but here it is so far.,.

Vintage Fabric

I found this gorgeous Duck Egg Moroccan Blue Curtain Panel  a few months ago in the charity shops... It only cost me a few pounds.. STUNNING! Perfect for my hallway console table insert ... I did have a piece of oilcloth in this before but after a few years it started to stain quite bad. I  P.V.Ad the fabric on and then layered a few coats of varnish over the top. I haven't dressed the table yet!

Garden Upcycling

I have never been a keen Gardener... A few weeks ago a neighbour kindly gave me some broken slabs.... I started playing around with them and Since then Ive caught the Gardening bug.. OMG I love it... Up-cycled 1920s Paraffin Heater Heres some of my broken slabs placed and painted... I added some solar fairy lights inside the heater. Singer legs as potting table Ive used some sleepers as the top.  I found them outside a derelict farmhouse last year.  Tyre Planters I haven't finished this project yet.. I have a few more tyres.. I need to paint them in different colours and stack them in a pyramid with lots of flowers dangling out...
