Utility Room
Although not finished and always changing heres a wee update on our journey of the utility room.
This wee 1800s cottage hasn't got a lot of cupboard space so we are having to utilise every space we can. The utility room window could have been made very pretty with a lovely window seat and dressing but I needed shelving for baskets of doggy stuff and laundry stuff!!! The window only opens at the top making this the perfect place to shelf. JD set about it and he done a wonderful job. We re-used the MDF board we pulled from a cupboard in the dressing room, so never bin anything!!!. I will put a fancy trim at the front of the shelving at a later time and also want to do something above the dogs raincoats. Im focusing on the dressing room at the moment. :)
I wanted to give my utility room cupboards a wee revamp. I already had this wallpaper amongst my still growing large stash of wallpapers.
The utility room..one wall down! JD broke my gorgeous glass, house doctor, pendant shade that hung over the sink he walloped his head off it 🤣 have had to put a tiny wee one on there just now! ....I loved that glass shade 🙁
That's the floor down...running off about an inch on the left hand side!!! Im hoping it doesn't annoy me too much...should have let JD do it hahah! (just realised you cant see it running off in this pic.
