Halloween

 

 Im so ready to take down this anaglypta wallpaper from the hallway...just the centre part between the dado and the picture rail..Ive been searching for a wallpaper for 2 years now!!! r u kidding me..who takes that long to pick a wallpaper!

Also got 2 new cow cushion...MOOOOoo haha.

 

All the Christmas decorations are away. It took me a whole 30 minutes. Now to think about some new decor for the new year...Every room is looking a tad tired...except my disco sewing room hahahaha  Remember my little bug frame I made hes in the hallway now.

 Its no much..but its all I could muster up this year...Im all halloweened out!! haha Is that a word? Halloweened haha Next year I think I may work on the outside more and less on the inside!

 

 

 

Thats it for me folks..Halloween is finished...The recycled, upcycled, handmade halloween 2020  ....time to break out the Christmas crafts.......Im joking! Im actually knackered..I have no ideas left....

 

 

This was definitely my most favourite make this year..the giant torso. The frame and broken skeleton where both in the shed so it cost next to nothing....

 I dont want to look at a a bat ever again! Ive cut out at least 100 bats...not only are they on the ceiling they are coming out of some of the main pieces below as well..it was fun though..fun but I odnt want to do it again hahahah

 I used to joke around about calling myself a faffer! for those that dont know what a faffer is (A faffer is someone who wastes time doing unnecessary things instead of what they should be doing)...I lost days faffing with these shelves!!! Im not putting myself through that again (aye right).. One of the shelves hahah..handmade/halloween

 

 

 I blue tacked some printed papers over my original wee drawers to make them more halloweeny 

Im nearly finished.....heres a wee bit of the handmade/recycled halloween hallway and bathroom  hahahaha I am glad its nearly finished..its taken over my life!!! Next Christmas hahaha.

 

 

 I hate these dark days!!! I cant get a picture...I found this cage in a charity shop..I painted it black..I made a wee velvet pumpkin with crows feet and feathers for the crow pie hahahaha you cant even see it in the darkness!!!

 

 

It is so dark in my house this morning..it doesnt help with the dark decor!! OOOH black soap and black cotton buds in the jars hahaha..actually the black ones are much better than white much more sturdier...and the black soap is natural and fantastic for the skin to ...win win this halloween hahaha..

 

 

I found this witch mask with attached hands in asda for £6.00..I just added a bit of stuffing and a nuns outfit...I made the broomstick last year...anyway I think I will put her outside..Im going to paint her eyes first though..they are rubbish!!

 

 

I made this wee bath tray yesterday. I cut out the shape in hardboard, wallpapered it and added on a few brackets for detail. I made a swivel soap/candle hand from a broken curtain bracket and plastic hand. Painted in gold and black and waterproofed it with a few coats of varnish 

 

 

 My £3.00 Asda day of the dead wreath..Painted black and gold..some red roses added..and a feather boa...only took a few minutes 

My wee £1 pumpkins from Asda...Some I painted gold, some I left black and some I pushed some pins in :) The bowl I got from a secondhand shop...I just painted it and made a wee mini sign from cardboard..the witches hat was a kids headband I just ripped the head bit off :)

 

 

 Bargain store black foam pumpkin..I painted it in a burgundy, wine colour its not as red as the picture! added some roses and glued some gold chain to it...not bad for a £1 might have been a couple of quid cant remember) I like the texture on the pumpkin..that happened totally by accident..The heat of the hairdryer caused it to bubble Love happy accidents hahahaha

 

 Making some mini cardboard signs for things with all my spare cardboard..I have been saving all the boxes for months..not much left now though!

 

One of the wee frames I made yesterday..I just hung it from the candle...also got these wee pumpkins from asda they where only a £1 each..I put some upholstery tacks in them..I think they look fab now...

 

 Ive had this wee idea in my head for a week or so now...I made these little frames and at first I was going to do bunting with them...Then I was going to do a mini halloweeny gallery wall..Now im thinking about doing little mini frames hanging from all the branches with different halloweeeny things in them..maybe a spider or just a picture...They are so bloomin cute!!! I am going to put a back on them and decorate them I think..this idea could change to hahaha or I could just hang them as is coz how beautiful are they awww...

 

 

 

The wee guys have their bow ties on ready for the big event...I think I should make them a matching tophats...

 

The hallway is really coming together!! I really could live with this decor all year round! Ive turned my Chandelier into a bat cave...

Those big numbers on my clock weren't sitting right with me...They looked like big iced biscuits! Anyway I ripped them off, while I was doing that I dropped the clock and smashed all the lovely detail work I had made on the bottom of it...never mind lol...I think it looks better without all those numbers...

 Nearly finished one halloween shelf lol its only took 3 weeks hahah...This wee cauldron bowl I found in a second hand shop I painted it first then put some faux candles in it and decorated the front of the candles and the bowl with some printed papers

 

 

 I had a couple of demijons my brother gave me. This one wasnt in such good nic so I used it for my handmade halloween :)

 

 

 I made these last year, they are so pretty and dainty....

 So its my first time making one of these wee guys...I actually havent worked on it that long but im thinking I like it as is :)

 

 

Aw I think he looks rather pleased with his wee cushion I made him hahah.  Think he need a wee bow tie.

 I had a few spare hours today so I made this sign from some cardboard I had laying around :)

I made this wee creepy guy out of a chamber candlestick I found in a second hand shop ..haha I love him!!! He looks like he is dripping bloody snot hahahah...

Found these wee mini frames in the second hand shop..changed out the dated pics...they look gorgeous with my mini cages.

 I just cant stop hahaha...This looks like death!!! I love it! A broken glass pumpkin I found in the second hand shop today....It really does remind me of something dying hahahaha..its made up of hands and finger bones hehe

Not sure what he is hahaha..made him from some wings and a christmas tree ornament I got from the bargain store...it was meant to be a flying eye..but It didnt turn out that way haha

 

 

I love this...it was an old frame I had in the shed...just put a back on it and added some skeleton....its actually really big!! Once I have all the decor up I will take a pic to show the scale of it....

 

 

Trying to incorporate you own decor into your halloween decor...This was wee Deans idea!! love it...some occult signs chalk drawn above the witches station 🤣 Im going to have to leave the lights on at night when im going to the lavvy!!! Im a big fearty hahahha..

 

 

 No more crafts for a few weeks...Ive had enough! Ive made the shelf from cardboard..the sign from a bit of scrap wood and the bottles I got in a charity shop and I just revamped them :) All in its cost me around £3 ...

Isnt she gorgeous...A candle stick and a cheap skull....Ive painted it bronze and golds cant really see it here... a few wee accessories and she looks so happy with her new hat and necklace hahaha

 

 

It doesnt feel like a day off!!! Im knackered...Got glue everywhere its even stuck to my hair! More for my halloween collection...I found a couple of wee bottles in the charity shop and thought they where perfect for some potion bottles...A few licks of paint and a label and they look the part..

 This Halloween im going as a nun..I found this book in a second hand shop but once I got home I decided to jazz it up a bit...im still working on it...still to texture and paint the top layer of chain and strap ..Ive used a layer of hardboard under the covers so the pages werent damaged
