Garden
Im one for checking how everything looks from every angle!!! I didn't want to have window shelving and for it to look completely naff from the outside.
I think this looks fine from the outside..Just wished I had painted the back bit of the shelf before it was put in. :)
Autumn is here the garden is dying!!
Ive had this typewriter in the garden for a few years and when I moved in with JD I just had to bring it with me!!!
We found this in a charity shop in a wee Scottish Borders charity shop at the start of the summer... I love it!
Our wee bit at the back door is starting to feel so much nicer...Lots of hard work from JD and myself!! We are so enjoying the space so much more now! A wee before and after...Decking put down, new roof and a window put in to the once dark small damp hallway that connects the 2 houses together (that's why its quite an odd looking build over the window). All second hand pieces and some faux plants because I'm crap at gardening haha
I was walking around the charity shops the other day when I came across this ornate planter it was only £2.00 ..I hadn't really seen anything like it before Rose sunbathing ha-ha the other 2 are running around digging holes and peeing on everything that moves!!! This is my first female dog and by god they are so much easier than males!!!!! I don't know why I'm surprised about that right enough!
Gabe, Axel & Rose.....All been thrown out the back door so I can clean ...wee shame for them..haha
When you clean the garden 🙂 Summers day in Galashiels....
Bar-Lock Typewriter Planter.
Paraffin Heater Ivy Climber :)
This has got to be the nicest thing in my garden
My rusty Chimnea Planter is much prettier!!!
I havent been in the garden for weeks so it was nice to spend the day weeding!!! it was quite relaxing although hard work!! can you actually relax while working hard?? I dont make sense!!! 🤣 Burnt the back of my neck to....Theres no colour on any of my plants it has all been and gone..time to start thinking about bloom times so I can have plants bloom at different times!!! Its a learning curve!!
Its my first attempt...and although I'm not keen on it..It has potential.
Faux China decoupage window box.
Ever have a project in mind and it turns out nothing like you had pictured it?
Well that's what happened here.....never mind ..
I will keep it here for now till I have another idea!
I found this box for £2.00 in a charity shop..
I painted it with outdoor masonry paint..drilled some holes in it, lined it with coco liner, a bit of decoupage.
(I was trying to make it look like broken china but it was a fail)
Last but not least a few coats of yacht varnish.
I am going to save up some real broken china and do it properly!!
I am now going to enjoy my last few days off..lounging around..doing nothing!! Eating...drawing...sleepin
I find it so difficult to capture my sparkly garden at night in photies.
A wee bit of gardening this morning...Now I seriously need to stop faffing and get on with some real work!!
Its not the prettiest..but if you had seen the hill with 6ft weeds that was here before!! I dug a lot!! I used old broken slabs, tyres, logs, and stones, made a pathway from the back door down into the garden. Needs lots of work but sure is better than before
Its been such a lovely afternoon, I am so glad I only had a few orders today it meant I could spend the afternoon making a wee footpath and steps under the arch. :)
Just a wee before & after of my wee front garden
I should really take a picture when its lighter lol..but everything just seemed so pretty.
