Picture Frame Shelf

I found this lovely picture frame today in a wee thrift shop in Selkirk. Got it for £8.00.

I made a frame around the base of the frame...

 

 

I used the original hardboard in the frame as the baseboard...

 

 

Apllied the first coat...The shelves arent to straight lol..my spirit level just wasnt playing :), ok so it wasnt the spirit level it was me...no patience thats whats wrong with me...
