Ceiling Rose continued

So I managed to get a shop soiled ceiling rose for a good bit cheaper. I use polyfilla to hang these lightweight ceiling roses by pasting on a small amount around the outer edge of the rose. I then seal the gaps in the uneven cut in the centre and around the edge to ceiling.
I mix up a really thick chalk paint to paint over the rose, the light fitting and chain. This gives a really nice plaster look to the rose.
I lightly sand and then go over with a lick of emulsion.
It really does make such a difference to the room and I dont think it look cheap!!.
