Tile rug

A happy accident?
Im not sure about this one.

My hallway flooring is ruined! I got gas central heating a while back and they ruined my peel and stick vinyl tiles in my hallway when the went underneath to lay the pipes. I was left with this massive section and the vinyl tiles are discontinued I had some 12" peel and stick black and white tiles left over from the kitchen so I just cut them up into squares, I used grout adhesive to stick them down and grouted them like I would a normal tile...its god awful but at least I can walk on it without sticking to the peel and stick tile residue that was left! Ive still to clean the grout off them lol!
