Loved doing this! It was actually really very therapeutic. 

I got the grey subway/metro tiles from B&Q. 

I drew a vertical line down the middle of the wall and then drew a 45 degree line at either side of the vertical line. I didn't actually know this it was Jim who showed me how to do it. 

Did you know you can actually buy T spacers that are designed for herringbone I never knew this either until after I finished the job. I also didn't know I was using my tile spacers wrong all these years! I never knew you put them in flush with  the tile and that they stayed there!!
